Leaders from the opposition parties in India are scheduled to convene a meeting with the Election Commission to address concerns regarding voter turnout and various other issues.

Sources indicate that leaders representing the opposition INDIA bloc are scheduled to convene with the Election Commission today to press for the immediate disclosure of the precise voter turnout data throughout the ongoing Lok Sabha elections after each phase. Alongside this demand, they plan to address concerns regarding the alleged utilization of religious symbols in the BJP’s campaign.

The INDIA bloc intends to present a memorandum to the full bench of the ECI and engage in discussions to elucidate these issues.

During a recent election rally in Vemulawada, Telangana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted that the Congress party ceased discussing prominent industrialists Ambani and Adani since the commencement of the polls. He suggested that they had received significant amounts of black money. Modi questioned the sudden cessation of criticism towards these industrialists, speculating whether it was due to illicit financial transactions or clandestine agreements to finance the Congress party.
