Rayagada is buzzing with election fervor as the voting day nears in Odisha. Today marks a significant event as Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh plans to visit the town to rally support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Scheduled to accompany the BJP candidates from Koraput, the union minister will address a public gathering at 3:40 pm in Barijhula, Rayagada. Sources suggest a sizable crowd of over 30 thousand party members and leaders will grace the occasion.

Rajnath Singh is gearing up to support his party’s candidates in the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the state. He’ll start by arriving at Barrack helipad in Bhawanipatna in the afternoon, then head to Lal Bahadur Stadium for a public meeting. After that, he’ll move on to JSCO ground in Rayagada for another public gathering. Security measures have been heightened for his visit.

On another front, Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai is embarking on a two-day trip to Odisha starting today. He’ll be focusing on Nabarangpur and Koraput, holding meetings in both places to discuss various issues.
