Russia Attacks Ukraine, Says Destroyed Ukrainian Air Bases

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday morning that Russia will conduct a military operation in Ukraine and give it back to other countries who interfere with what Russia is doing.

U.S. President Joe Biden condemned the “unprovoked and unjustified attack” and warned of “catastrophic loss of life and human suffering.”

“Military infrastructure at Ukrainian army air bases has been rendered out of action,” the defence ministry said in a statement. The statement also added that Kyiv’s air bases were eliminated.
