Five terrorists slain in Twin Encounters in J&K

Srinagar: Five terrorists were killed by the Jammu and Kashmir Police in twin encounters in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. The terrorists belonged to the terror organisations sponsored by Pakistan, Jaish-e-Muhammad and Laskar-e-Taiba.

The encounter began in the Naira area of Pulwama district. Jaish-e-Muhammad commander Zahid Wani and another unnamed Pakistani terrorist were among those killed. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the area of encounter, informed the Kashmir Police.
