Evacuation of Indian Students Priority : Rahul Gandhi

A meeting of the consultative committee on External Affairs was held regarding the war situation among Ukraine and Russia on Thursday Morning. 9 MPS from six different political parties attended the meeting.

Rahul Gandhi along with Parliamentarian Dr. Shashi Tharoor were also present in the meeting.
Dr. Tharoor said, “All parties are united in their desire to see our nationals return safely home.”

According to sources, Rahul Gandhi raised the issue of China & Pakistan getting closer to Russia, but said evacuation of Indian students from Ukraine should be priority.

Reportedly, Congress supported Government pf India’s move of abstaining from voting in UNSC.
