Dutee Chand Among 27 To Receive Arjuna Award This Year

Bhubaneswar : Two times Asian Games silver medals winner sprinter Dutee Chand will receive the Arjuna Award.

Dutee Chand, Cricketer Ishant Sharma and Male recurve archer Atanu Das are among the 27 sportspersons to get the Arjuna award this year.

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports gives the Arjuna Awards to recognize outstanding achievements in sports.

Dutee Chand became the first women athlete from the country after PT Usha to represent India at summer Olympics in 100-meter race in Rio.
