Bhubaneswar : The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today issued a set of guidelines to establish COVID Care Homes for RWAs and other gated communities.
The facilities will be taken up by the Residential colonies of Central govt departments, banks and PSUs who have residential complexes or colonies at Bhubaneswar.
“This will be more acceptable to the residents and patients as this arrangement will provide them psychological comfort being in their own place and will also help reduce the burden on existing COVID health facilities which will accommodate moderate and severe positive cases,” BMC said.
This community-based isolation will however to be done at their own resources. Already, some of RWAs have come up forward & set up their CCHs and few of them are already functional.
