Alleged rape victim paraded in the streets of Delhi, Kejriwal demands action

Delhi: A video of an alleged rape victim being paraded with head shaved amid cheers has surfaced on social media. She was paraded by her neighbours amid cheers and her face was blackened.

Swati Maliwal, the chief of Delhi Commission for women has demanded for arrests and directed the Delhi police to immediately take necessary action.

The Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal also has critcised the culprits and asked Union Home Minister and Lieutenant General to immediately take action.

The 20 year old woman allegedly was gang raped by liquor sellers in Delhi. Following which she was paraded with black paint on her face and a garland of slippers by her neighbours.
