The reality tv star Kim Kardashian made a super stylish entry on the red carpet of Met Gala 2022 along with her beau Pete Davidson. She was seen wearing a dress that originally belonged to Marilyn Monroe. Monroe wore it in 1962 as she performed “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” for John F. Kennedy.
Kim took to her social media handle and wrote,
“I am so honored to be wearing the iconic dress that Marilyn Monroe wore in 1962 to sing “Happy Birthday” to President John F. Kennedy. It is a stunning skintight gown adorned with more than 6,000 hand-sewn crystals by costumier Jean Louis.”
She also confirmed to Vogue that she had to lose weight to fit into this dress.
