Kangana Ranaut Shuts Up Journalist Rudely, Asks Her To Sit Down

Kangana Ranaut and controversies are almost synonymous. This time was not new when Kangana Ranaut while promoting her new reality show Lock Upp got into a spat with a journalist who asked her about the recent controversy regarding an Instagram influencer and Deepika Padukone.

The Instagram influencer had put out a post and sarcastically commented about how decreasing the length of dresses is directly proportional to the approaching dates ‘Gehraiyaan.’ This move was criticized and called out for being sexist thereafter which the said influencer deleted his post. Kangana in the press conference was asked regarding the same following which she burst out and said, “Look, I am here to defend those who can’t defend themselves. Alright? She can defend herself. She has the privilege, the platform and I can’t promote her film here. Sit down.”

The journalist continued clarifying herself nd her intentions about not being there to promote any film, she went on to say, “Of course, you named the film. You are also naming a film which is coming. Obviously, you are being planted by the PRs of the said film. Arre yaar, hum itne bhi toh naadaan nahi hai na.Do it outside, I will engage with you for 45 minutes.”

Kangana Ranaut was also banned by a certain section of media after she took a jibe at a journalist in a press conference during her promotions of ‘Judgemental Hai Kya.’

Nayandeep Rakshit, a known face as an entertainment journalist put out a post and took a stand for his fellow journalist.
