Worker Beaten To Death In city, Accused Held

Bhubaneswar: A mason worker was allegedly beaten to death by another person in Damana area under Chadrasekharpur police limits in Bhubaneswar late last night.

According to sources, and an altercation broke out between the mason worker and another man from the same area while the duo was in an inebriated condition.

However, the situation turned ugly after the accused person started hitting the mason worker with a wooden stick killing him on the spot.

While the accused is being grilled in police custody, a scientific team went to the spot this morning for further investigation, sources said.
