What Is Kavach, The Anti-Collision System For Trains?

Kavach is a system generated by Indian Railways to prevent rail accidents. Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnav himself held an on-site inspection of the test in Secunderabad. The indigenious Automatic Protection Train( ATP) system has been developed to help railways completely cut down rail accidents.

Kavach helps the train automatically stop 380 meteres before any other locomotive. The rail minister himself was present during the test and tweeted about it’s success.
