Super Cyclonic Storm ‘Amphan is 570 km away from south of Paradip.

Bhubaneswar : The Super Cyclonic Storm ‘Amphan’ over Westcentral Bay of Bengal moved north-northwestwards with a speed of 14 kmph during past 6 hrs & lay centred (0230 HRS IST of May 19) over Westcentral Bay of Bengal, about 570 km south of Paradip.

As per 6.15 am IMD bulletin, Amphan will remain a Super Cyclone in the Sea till 11.30 am today with wind speed up to 260 kmph. It will subsequently become an Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm. Landfall area & wind speed during landfall remains same as yesterday.
