Students Body Opposed AICTE’S Fatal Anti Odia Decision

Bhubaneswar: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has decided to translate online courses taught on its platform into eight regional languages — Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, Telugu, Gujarati and Malayalam. However Odia is not included among the languages.
In addition, AICTE plans to translate engineering courses taught in B.Tech courses into regional languages ​​such as Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali and Assamese where as ignoring Odia which is a classical languages and a Tribal dominated state coming under The Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution is completely injustice to Odia students and shows step motherly behaviour of Unioun govt MHRD and AICTE says All Odisha Technical and Professional Students Association Convenor Biplab Prakash Mohanty.
We urge our Honble Cm central minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Pratap Chandra Sarangi to intervene in this matter and include Odia other wise we will launch a state wide agitation against AICTE and will also boycott NTA exam centers in state he added.
