Sand Art Carved On Occasion Of Mother’s Day

Puri- Sand Artist Manas Kumar Sahu has carved a sculpture to honour all the sacrifices of Mothers on Mother’s Day. The sculpture has been made in the Golden Sea Beach near the Light House, Puri.

The portrait of ‘A Mother and her child’ symbolizes and urges everyone to not forget the unconditional love and sacrifice of mothers. A Mother, the most beautiful creation of God loves her child unconditionally who cannot be compared with any other creation in this World and that is what the form of art has tried to convey through the sculpture.

It took 7 hours to be built in which about 12 tons of sand has been consumed.
