Bhubaneswar : Today Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik gave statement about Restrategiseing our response to reduce COVID-19 spread.

As said by our CM we are now in the 2nd month of luckdown. In these 2 moths we have learnt so much things both scientifically and Administratively. So it is the time to remodel our responses based on our learning to bring normalcy in economy as well as in our daily life.

From the behavior of the virus in India and more particularly in Odisha has taught us that with strict social distancing, use of masks and repeated hand wash we would be able to successfully defeat the spread of pandemic. Also our learning shows that the elderly people, Comorbid persons needs a little more care.

CM also tried to make people understand that social distancing doesn’t mean social boycotting. It’s just a way to keep ourselves and others away from the virus. So this the target of the week to make people follow this guideline strictly.

CM said that he is very happy to know that Odisha is now one of the leading state in testing in the country and who is successfully established a decentralized testing facility in every part of the state.

At GP level TMCs are doing their job very smartly in containing the spread. CM appreciate each officials from top to bottom for working day and night in our fight against COVID

It is always said by our CM that it is a long run fight and so far we have handled it well and we will handle it in future also.

As the flight and railway services are available now the coming 15 days to a month will be more challenging for us but I’m sure we will handle the same in a very professional manner.

CM very much appreciated to those who handled COVID-19 on one hand and a super cyclone on the other hand and secured zero casualties. People of the state have been very cooperative with the government. Their sacrifice is the big inspiration for us to discharge our duty more effectively.
