Puri Sevayats To Get 3rd Installment of Financial Assistance

Puri : The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) today announced to release another instalment of financial assistance of Rs 5,000 for each sevayat (servitor) family in wake of the COVID-19 lockdown which has resulted in livelihood crisis for them since temples remain closed for the public in the State.

“Like the earlier two instalments of Rs 5,000 each provided to the families of the servitors for Corona, we will be sanctioning the third instalment of Rs 5,000. We will further consider after the Yatra is over,” informed SJTA Chief Administrator Krishan Kumar speaking to reporters here after arrival of the three chariots at the Gundicha Temple.
