President, Prime Minister Greet People On Basant Panchami

The President of India, Ramnath Kovind and Prime MInister Narendra Modi took to twitter to wish the citizens on the occasion of ‘Basant Panchami’ and ‘Saraswati Puja.’ This festival in India is celebrated as the arrival of Spring. People also in several parts of the country worship Maa Saraswati.

The Prime Minister took to Twitter to greet the people and said, “Wishing the countryfolk on the occasion of Basant Panchami and Saraswati Puja. May Maa Sharda shower all he blessings and the Basant, the king os seasons bring happiness to everyone’s lives.”

The President of India also tweeted in Hindi and said, “Wishing everyone on the occasion of Saraswati Puja and Basant Panchami. I pray that the arrival of Basant brings happiness , prosperity and good health to my countryfolk and Godess Saraswati illuminates everyone’s life with knowledge.”
