PM Modi Praises Odisha’s Culture and BJP’s Victory at Moscow Event

During an address to the Indian community in Moscow, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted Odisha’s rich culture and recent political achievements. He emphasized the significance of a government being elected for a third consecutive term in India, marking it as a remarkable feat.

PM Modi remarked on the elections in four states: Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Andhra Pradesh, and Odisha, where the NDA achieved a clean sweep victory. He particularly praised Odisha’s revolutionary change, symbolized by his wearing an Odia scarf while extending his wishes for the auspicious Rath Yatra.

In a historic shift, the BJP has secured a majority in Odisha, ending the 24-year tenure of Naveen Patnaik’s BJD government. Modi also recalled how the Konark Wheel from Odisha’s Sun Temple was prominently featured during the G20 Summit in Delhi, serving as the backdrop for his welcome handshake with global leaders.
