PM Modi Arrives in Italy for G-7 Summit

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Apulia, Italy, on Thursday night to attend the G7 Summit. The ministry of external affairs reported that PM Modi will engage in several bilateral meetings and take part in an outreach session of the summit today.Upon his arrival at Brindisi Airport, PM Modi was welcomed by India’s Ambassador to Italy, Vani Rao, and other officials. This visit is notable as it marks PM Modi’s first international trip since commencing his third consecutive term in office.Randhir Jaiswal, the official spokesperson for the ministry of external affairs, shared on X: “PM @narendramodi touches down at Brindisi airport in Apulia, Italy. Agenda includes participation in the Outreach session of the G7 Summit & substantive interactions with the global leaders on the sidelines. An action-packed day awaits!”
