Pangolin rescued from quarantine center to be tested for COVID-19

Athagarh: A 5 year old pangolin was rescued from the quarantine center in Athagarh area on Monday night.

Since the pangolin has been rescued from the quarantine center where 42 persons have been quarantined, the wildlife officials decided to send it’s swab for covid-19 test before it is released into the wild as said by the DFO Sasmita Lenka.

Meanwhile DFO said an investigation into how the pangolin ended up in the quarantine center is in progress .
