ODRAF member’s body recovered, Elephant goes missing

Cuttack: In an unfortunate incident on Friday that led to the death of a journalist, Arindam Das, in the same incident, an ODRAF team member was also missing. The team member Sitaram Murmu was missing since yesterday after the boat mishap.

His body was found on Saturday near Dhabaleswar.The ODRAF team members were dedicatedly searching for him since yesterday.

However, the elephant that was stuck under the Mundali bridge is missing now. Locals say that the elephant could not bear standing anymore and gave in to the current of the Mahanadi river. However, there is no confirmed news as of now about the whereabouts of the elephant.
