Bhubaneswar: Odisha continues to reel under heat wave with eight places in the State recording temperature of 40 degrees Celsius or above today

According to the Indian Meteorological Department’s regional centre in Bhubaneswar, Odisha’s coal town Talcher was the hottest place in the State with a maximum temperature of 41.7 degrees Celsius while Bolangir recorded 41.2 deg C.

Other places which registered temp 40 degrees or above were Angul (40.5), Jharsuguda (40.2), Boudh (40.2), Sonepur (40.2), Malkangiri (40.1) and Titilagarh (40).

The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded a maximum temperature of 39.7 deg C and 38.2 deg C respectively.
