Odia Litterateur Pratibha Ray Receives Padma Bhusan

President Ramnath Kovind conferred the Padma Awards this year. A total of 128 Padma awards were conferred this year.
Dr. Pratibha Ray, eminent Odia litterateur received her Padma Bhusan for her extraordinary contribution in the field of literature and education.

A tweet from the official account of Rastrapati Bhavan said, “President Kovind presents Padma Bhushan to Dr Pratibha Ray for Literature and Education. An internationally acclaimed Indian writer, she has immensely enriched the modern Odia literature by her pioneering short stories and novels, travelogues and essays.”
