Music Director Prafulla Kar Passes Away

Prafulla Kar, well known Odia music director passed away at his Satyanagar residence on Sunday. He has worked as a music director and often as singer in over seventy Odia movies as well as in 4 Bangla films.

Kar was 83 and is also the recipient of the Padma Shri. the fourth highest civilian award. He is known for songs like Mukunda Murari, Chinta Nahin mora. The Odia music industry will mourn the loss of this gem.
