India issued a statement on Friday regarding an unarmed missile landing in Mian Channu city in Khanewal district of the Punjab province of Pakistan. Reportedly, the incident took place in March 9th.

However, The defence ministry clarified and said it was a “technical malfunction.” It added, “On 9 March 2022, in the course of routine maintenance, a technical malfunction led to the accidental firing of a missile. The Government of India has taken a serious view and ordered a high-level Court of Enquiry.”
