India Men’s Badminton Team Lifts Thomas Cup In 73 Years

Whilst creating history, India men’s Badminton team get the Thomas Cup home after 73 years. The team displayed it’s brilliance and won against Indonesia with 3-0.

Prime Minister Modi congratulated the team and in a tweet wrote, “The Indian badminton team has scripted history! The entire nation is elated by India winning the Thomas Cup! Congratulations to our accomplished team and best wishes to them for their future endeavours. This win will motivate so many upcoming sportspersons.”
