In Pictures: Why was ISRO Carrying APPLE Communication Satellite On A Bullock Cart?

in 1981, The scientists of Indian Space Research Organisation carry India’s first Communication APPLE ( Ariane Passenger Pay Load Experiment ) satellite on a bullock cart to avoid a magnetic environment. It was to protect the satellite components by coming near a magnetic environment. These pictures were curated by astronomer Pranav Sharma for the Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales. (CNES)
