IMD Warns Heavy Rainfall in 10 Districts of Odisha

Bhubaneswar : The India Meteorological Department (IMD) today forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall in some places of Odisha on June 10 due to possible formation of a low pressure over eastcentral Bay of Bengal.

The weathermen said Ganjam, Gajapati, Puri, Khurda, Koraput and Nabarangapur districts are likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall under the influence of a low pressure area which is likely to develop over the eastcentral Bay of Bengal on June 8. Light to moderate ranfall is likely to occur in other places of the State, they added.
