Highest Single-Day Spike Of 1699 New Covid Cases In Odisha Take Tally To 40,717

Bhubaneswar : The state health department on Thursday said 1699 persons tested positive for Covid-19 on August 5 taking the tally to 40,717.

When 1073 cases were reported from quarantine centres, 626 were local contacts.
