Govt Desists Staff To Use Social Media For Self Grievances

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has asked all its employees including the contractual staff, to desist from using social media to ventilate their service-related grievances to the authorities

The General Administration and Public Grievance (GA&PG) department, in a notification, advised all the employees to refrain from ventilating their grievances through social media.

“It has come to the notice of the Government that govt employees, especially contractual employees, are using social media to ventilate their service-related grievances to the authorities. This is an act of indiscipline, besides being indecorous and violative of Government Servants’ Code of Conduct.
