Bhubaneswar : Hours after the State’s COVID-19 tally crossed 10,000-mark following the highest single-day spike of 571 new cases today, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced to include COVID management under its ‘Mo Sarkar’ initiative and suggested officials to devise a mechanism to keep family members informed about the health condition of infected persons.

“We will start Mo Sarkar and take random feedback on special parameters from persons admitted in COVID Care Centres and COVID hospitals. All senior officials and COVID observers must take random feedback from patients as well from COVID Warriors and improve service delivery,” said Patnaik while addressing senior officials.

Patnaik further added that the online entry facility should be ensured for monitoring Covid Care Homes established at different locations of the State as well as streamlining ambulance service in different exclusive Covid Hospitals.

Highlighting the importance of transparency, Patnaik stated that it is important to keep the family members informed about the change in the health status of positive patients. Similarly, there should be special facility to connect patients and their family members through phone or video call.
