Employees Of Higher Education Dept Urged To Maintain Punctuality

Bhubaneswar : All the employees of the Higher Education Department of the Odisha Government have been asked to maintain punctuality and reach office on time.

In an official letter from the Department’s Commissioner cum Secretary Saswat Mishra, it is pointed out that punctuality is of utmost importance and hence the secretaries, special secretaries, additional secretaries, joint secretaries, deputy secretaries of the department should lead by example.

The letter mentions that even though the official time is that of 10 am, a relaxation of 30 minutes can be allowed subject to certain conditions. The Higher Education Department Secretary further laments that even though some senior officials were noticed coming to office late beyond 10.30 am.

He urges all senior officers of the department to be punctual failing which he will be constrained to withdraw official vehicles assigned to them with effect from August 1, 2020.
