DGP Abhaya Reviews Corona Situation of State

Cuttack : DGP Abhay today held a meeting with all District SPs, Range DIGs and IGs through video conferencing to review Corona situation and enforcement of regulations in the their respective areas.

The DGP also reviewed welfare measures for police, including payment of ex-gratia and full salary to Corona Warriors who laid their life, action against cannabis trafficking and cultivation and promotion of constables.

Besides, Abhay also focused on capacity building for cyber crime and took stock of the temporary Beat House and Outposts, prompt response from districts in High Court matters, rationalising use of OSAP and pending NHRC matters.

Additional DGP (Hdqrs.), Additional DGP CID-CB, Director Intelligence, IGP (Modernatisation), Director, SCRB were present in the meeting.

The DGP also held a meeting with CP, Cuttack-Bhubaneswar and DCPs of Commissionerate later in the day on same topics.
