Gajapati /Bhubaneswar: Sri Sanjaya Kumar Das Burma, Deputy Chairman State Planning Board visited Gajapati District today and reviewed District level COVID management, Health care, Social sector activities and Livelihood missions maintaining social distancing in the Conference Hall.
Collector Gajapati Shri Anupam Saha, IAS, ADM Shri Gyana Ranajan Bhanjadeo, OAS, PD- DRDA Shri Mahesh Kumar Choudhury, Sub-Collector Shri Sangram Sekhar Panda and all District level Officers were present.
The management of COVID activities in Gajapati District was of Prime Importance. All were sensitized to give their best as they have done well till now. All the major schemes touching the life of common man were reviewed. As MNREGA is a major source of livelihood, the line departments and DRDA were asked made a visit to achieve the target to meet the target by taking need based projects. Sri Dash Burma Reviewed the program of Rural housing and Instructed the PD, DRDA to ensure all eligible beneficiaries are provided with Pucca Houses. The District has ample scope for undertaking Horticulture activities in the tribal pockets to improve the living conditions of people. The District has achieved all targets of procurement and instructed the CSO to place further requirement of ration cards to cater to the needs of left out beneficiaries.
