Cyclone Amphan Is 980 km far to Reach Odisha: We Are Ready : Says SRC

Bhubaneswar : The CycloneAmphan was 980 km south of Paradip coast by 9 AM today.

Eventually recurvature process will be completed by this evening. The exact path, speed, landfall time and place can be accurately calculated after the recurvature process is over.

Districts collectors have been asked to remain alert. Evacuation centres have been identified. Decision regarding evacuation of people will be taken after we receive detailed data.

10 teams of NDRF deployed in Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur & Mayurbhanj districts. 7 more teams kept ready at 3rd NDRF BN Mundali in Cuttack.
