COVID-19 patient Dies at Capital City

Bhubaneswar: A 38-year-old woman COVID-19 patient of Bhubaneswar died while undergoing treatment.

The Health and Family Department informed today.

The cause of death was septic shock with multi-organ failure, said the department.

She was undergoing treatment for psoriasis and was on immunosuppressant drugs. The woman breathed her last during treatment at a COVID hospital.

Worth mentioning, this is the third such instance in the state where a COVID-19 patient died of other health issues.
