COVID-19 cases near 63,000 in India

New Delhi : The number of confirmed Coronavirus positive cases in India is nearing 63,000-mark.  The number of COVID-19 cases  has risen sharply across the country in the last few days. As per the Health Ministry’s data, the death toll stands at 2,109 while 19,385 people have recovered from the disease so far.

The case count of India is now approximately double that of eleven days ago. This is considerably slower compared to early April, when cases doubled every four days.
