Bhubaneswar : Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today sealed the Hotel Utkal Inn Bar and Restaurant at Garage Chowk, Bhubaneswar for violation of COVID-19 Weekend Shutdown Guidelines.
As ascertained by the BMC South East Zone Team and Police Personnel of Lingaraj Police Station, the Bar & Restaurant was found to be openly violating guidelines by selling of liquor to individuals during Sunday Shutdown Period. Also many youth were found to be flocking the above Bar and Restaurant for purchase of Liquor by violating lockdown norms.
Taking immediate action for the above violation, the Bar & Restaurant was sealed for an indefinite period by BMC and Police Team.
