Big Announcement By CM Naveen Pattnaik After Review Meeting

Bhubaneswar :CM Naveen Patnaik reviewed COVID- 19 situation in Cuttack and Khurdha districts through videoconferencing. After Reviewing CM Made some Announcements .

👉Enhancement of the retirement age in case of Medical Officers of OHMS cadre as well as the Allopathic Insurance Medical Officers under L & ESI Department from 62 years to 65 years.
👉More than One lakh people have returned back from outside the State in the two districts of Khordha and Cuttack. In spite of the large influx of migrants, the situation is under control with recovery rate of 70% in Khordha and 71% in Cuttack, which is much above the National average of 63%.

Government has sanctioned Rs 20.64 crore from Chief Minister Relief Fund for running of new Dedicated Covid hospitals and Covid Care Centres for next three months in Khordha and Cuttack districts.

Announcements For Khurdha District

👉🏻150 bed dedicated COVID hospital by Aditya Ashwini Hospital
👉🏻Dedicated COVID hospital in Nilanchal hospital with 126 bed and 15 ICU bed to be operational this week
👉🏻with the active participation of NGOs, religious organizations, communities 1385 beds in COVID care homes will established soon.
👉🏻Rs 15 crore from CM relief fund to Khordha district
👉🏻special focus will be given on slum areas to contain the spread of virus.

Announcement for cuttack district:

👉🏻the health facilities have been expanded to the district to take care of the increasing number of cases. 925 additional beds are being established in the city’s COVID hospitals and COVID care centers.
👉🏻15 crore from CM relief fund to the district
👉🏻special focus on the congested areas of cuttack city through puja committees and sahi committees.
👉🏻Training and Information center COVID 19 at SCB Medical College to be operational soon.
👉🏻Upgradation of Molecular Genome Lab in SCB.
