Bhubaneswar Reported 550 Positive Cases

Bhubaneswar: As many as 550 new COVID-19 positive cases have been detected under the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) area in the last 24 hours.

As per BMC, of the 550 new COVID-19 positive cases, 243 are Quarantine Cases out of which 241 are linked with earlier positive cases and two others have travel history to Delhi and Gujarat. Besides, 307 are Local Contact Cases.

This apart, 272 persons have also recovered from the infection of Novel Coronavirus.

Further contact tracing is still continuing. Primary contacts & nearby houses are being quarantined, sanitised & will be under active surveillance, the BMC said. The civic body also informed that all the new positive cases have been shifted to COVID Hospital.So far a total of 12,403 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in Bhubaneswar, out of which, 4822 are active cases while 7523 persons have recovered and 46 have succumbed to the deadly infection of COVID-19.
