Awaaken Trust Leads Cuttack’s Grand Rally Against Breast Cancer

In a remarkable show of unity and solidarity, more than 10 social organizations in Cuttack, along with 180 enthusiastic participants, came together to organize a Mega Breast Cancer Awareness Rally as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event, which started at the iconic Clock Tower Ranihat and culminated at Hotel Shri Jagannath, Dolamundai Cuttack, marked a historic moment in the city’s efforts to raise awareness about breast cancer.

The rally believed to be the first of its kind in the city, was graced by the presence of Hon’ble DCP Cuttack, Shri Pinaki Mishra, who took the honour of flagging off the event. Additional DCP Sri Anil Mishra and over 30 lady police officers from the Cuttack Police Department lent their support to this noble cause. Furthermore, Shri Lalitendu Mohanty, DC-cum Joint Secretary of IRCS Regional Branch, Police Commissionerate Bhubaneswar Cuttack, also joined the event, making it a grand success.

The rally saw the participation of various distinguished individuals and organizations committed to the cause of cancer awareness. Notably, Dr. Kshitish Mishra, an esteemed Oncologist, played a vital role in creating awareness about cancer, and educating the attendees on its prevention and early detection.

Several organizations, including Sai Foundation, Sandhya Charitable Trust, Swapna Foundation, and Samrudhi Foundation, lent their support, adding to the grandeur of the event.

Breast cancer is a significant health concern affecting women across the globe, and early detection and awareness play a pivotal role in saving lives. The Mega Breast Cancer Awareness Rally in Cuttack stands as a shining example of collective action and dedication toward combating this life-threatening disease.

The event, organized by Awaaken Trust, Silvercity Cuttack Public Charitable Trust, Rotary Club Cuttack, and Carcinova Foundation, not only raised awareness about breast cancer but also showcased the power of unity and community involvement in addressing crucial health issues.

As the sun set over the city, the Mega Breast Cancer Awareness Rally in Cuttack served as a beacon of hope and a reminder that when the community comes together, remarkable things can be achieved in the fight against cancer.
