Big Announcement of Puri Gajapati Regarding Ratha Yatra

Puri: Puri Shankaracharya has recommended that Akshaya Tritiya rituals, which mark the beginning of chariot construction for RathYatra, should be conducted & as it cannot be done outside due to COVID19 lockdown, the rituals should be conducted inside temple premises.

Commencement of chariot construction ritual for RathaJatra on Akshaya Tritiya (April 26) will be held inside Shree Jagannath Temple premises, informs Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb after a meeting with Shankaracharya.
