Bhubaneswar, May 28: Today, Union Minister and prominent BJP leader Amit Shah is set to visit Odisha as part of the ongoing campaign efforts for the upcoming elections. With polling for the fourth and final phase scheduled for June 1, Shah’s visit marks a crucial moment in the BJP’s campaign strategy.

Shah’s itinerary includes addressing significant public gatherings in three parliamentary constituencies. He will first speak at a rally in Chandbali under the Bhadrak parliamentary constituency, followed by a meeting in Korei under Jajpur constituency, and concluding with an address in Jagatsinghpur. These areas are among the six parliamentary constituencies where voters will cast their ballots in the upcoming phase.

Party insiders reveal that Shah’s speeches will likely focus on key issues pertinent to the region, continuing the party’s critical stance on the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD), particularly highlighting the ‘Asmita’ (pride) issue. This strategy has been a recurring theme in BJP’s narrative, aiming to resonate with local sentiments and galvanize voter support.

Adding momentum to the campaign, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to join the campaign trail on Wednesday, the final day of electioneering for this phase. His presence is expected to further boost the BJP’s efforts to sway undecided voters and strengthen their position in these critical constituencies.

As the campaign heats up, both Shah and Modi’s engagements are seen as pivotal in shaping the electoral outcomes in Odisha. The BJP’s focus on these regions underscores their strategic importance in the broader electoral landscape. Voters and political analysts alike will be keenly observing the developments as the election day approaches, anticipating the impact of these high-profile visits on the final vote.
