Bhubaneswar : As many as 21 new Covid-19 positive cases have been detected in Bhubaneswar in the last 24 hours as on July 21.
This can be seen as a marked drop in the daily detection of new cases in the Odisha Capital which was 49 yesterday.
As per information shared by BMC out of the 21 new cases detected, 16 are quarantine cases and 05 are local contact cases while 49 have been cured of the deadly infection.
All the positive cases have been shifted to Covid Hospital, the BMC has added.
The BMC has said that further contact tracing is still continuing and primary contacts & nearby houses are being quarantined, sanitised & will be under active surveillance.
