Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Visit Russia and Austria, Strengthening Bilateral Ties

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on an official visit to Russia and Austria from July 8-10, 2024. The visit begins with the 22nd India-Russia Annual Summit in Moscow, where PM Modi will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin to review the extensive spectrum of relations between the two nations. Discussions will also cover key regional and global issues of mutual interest.

Following his engagements in Moscow, PM Modi will make a historic visit to Austria from July 9-10, marking the first trip by an Indian Prime Minister to the country in 41 years. In Vienna, he will meet with Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen and hold talks with Chancellor Karl Nehammer. Additionally, PM Modi and Chancellor Nehammer will address business leaders from both countries, underscoring the economic aspects of the bilateral relationship.

During his visit, PM Modi will also engage with the Indian community in Moscow and Vienna, highlighting the importance of people-to-people ties between India and these European nations.
