Tragic Accident in Rayagada: One Dead, Three Critically Injured as Car Falls Off Culvert

Rayagada, July 1: In a heartbreaking incident early this morning, a car accident in Bandhaguda village, under Ambadala police jurisdiction in Rayagada district, claimed the life of one man and left three others critically injured.

The identities of the deceased and the injured individuals have not yet been confirmed. Emergency services, including police and fire personnel, are actively working to rescue one of the injured who remains trapped inside the overturned vehicle.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Preliminary suspicions suggest that the driver may have lost control of the vehicle due to speeding or drowsiness. After veering off the culvert, the car plunged into a ditch and flipped over.

Alerted by passing motorists, the police quickly arrived at the scene and initiated rescue operations. The injured individuals have been taken to a hospital for treatment.
