The remaining victims include one person each from Jharkhand, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Punjab, and West Bengal.An Indian Air Force aircraft has transported the bodies to Cochin International Airport. The mortal remains will be sent to their respective states, with the flight proceeding to Delhi for those from other regions. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, along with other officials, attended the arrival to oversee procedures and offer condolences.Initial investigations have exposed significant safety violations. Indian embassy officials and survivors reported that the ground floor of the seven-storey building stored around two dozen gas cylinders. Additionally, inflammable materials like paper, cardboard, and plastic were used as partitions, and locked doors prevented escape to the rooftop.Kuwaiti authorities have confirmed that out of the 49 casualties, 45 were Indians, three were from the Philippines, and one body remains unidentified. Approximately 50 individuals were injured in the Wednesday night blast at the migrant workers’ residence in Mangaf, south of Kuwait City.
