The BJP has designated Union ministers Rajnath Singh and Bhupender Yadav as central observers for selecting the party’s legislature party leader in Odisha. This leader will subsequently be sworn in as the new chief minister of the state.A BJP legislature party meeting is scheduled for June 11, with the new CM’s oath-taking ceremony planned for June 12. Originally set for June 10, the ceremony was delayed due to Prime Minister Modi’s busy schedule, according to BJP leader Jatin Mohanty.Although senior leaders Dharmendra Pradhan and Jual Oram were leading candidates for the CM position, their inclusion in the Union Cabinet has ruled them out. Meanwhile, there is speculation around Suresh Pujari, a former MP from western Odisha, who has been in Delhi for the past two days. This region is known as a BJP stronghold.
