Early Trends Show Tight Race Between BJP and BJD in Odisha.

In the early trends from 21 constituencies in Odisha, Sambit Patra leads from Puri as the BJP and BJD engage in a close contest.In Sambalpur, Biju Janata Dal’s Dharmendra Pradhan is ahead, while Bharatiya Janata Party’s Pranab Prakash Das trails by 3,015 votes. BJP’s leading candidates include Baijayant Panda in Kendrapara, Dharmendra Pradhan in Sambalpur, Sambit Patra in Puri, Pradeep Purohit in Bargarh, Malvika Devi in Kalahandi, Ananta Nayak in Keonjhar, Sangeeta Kumari Singh Deo in Bolangir, and Aparajita Sarangi in Bhubaneswar.The BJP has taken the lead in 13 seats, followed by BJD with 5 seats and INC with 2 seats based on early trends from 20 of the 21 constituencies.In Sundargarh, Jual Oram of BJP leads, with Janardan Dehury of INC trailing by 1,424 votes. In Bolangir, Sangeeta Kumari Singh Deo of BJP is ahead, while BJD’s Surendra Singh Bhoi trails by 765 votes.
